Men, Women… what’s the difference

Just a idea I thought of. I probably won’t be doing it, but I thought it was funny.

“Hello, Nutrasystem? I want to lose some weight as fast as possible. Start me up on your best plan!”

One month later:

Dammit, I should of read the package! Nutrasystem for Women? There’s a difference?

Yeah, um, I got that from watching a commercial. Perhaps I should stop watching TV.

Ah the good old Weight loss pills turned me into a hot chick story – God love them! I know I do and I ain’t God, well maybe a minor deity – a Buddha perhaps :)

This is a diet system that sends you actual food. I can’t imagine how they do that. (Mailman hold up a drippy package. “Here you go sir… uh, ma’am… whichever.”)

Supposedly they tailor make the food that would work for women and men separately. In their commercial they find the worst picture imaginable for the spokesmodel, (usually one with megafat showing, no makeup, rats-nest for hair, wearing a moo moo) then they show the new and improved model (with make up, styled hair, bikini, tanned, and smiling)

Amazingly enough there are no stretch marks and those breasts are really firm and uplifted! I’m sure there was no surgical enhancement at all. We can trust the commercial right?

Hence the idea of the total transformation.

Oh, there’s another called “The Total Transformation Workout!” I think it was Tae Bo.

    And another called :
    Simply…Woman!: The 12-Week Body/Mind/Soul Total Transformation Program.

These are just asking for stories to be written.

That one’s too much of a formula story. But I do have a nice one about a mind/soul transference, and I haven’t done one of those before… I think. It’s a cliche idea of “guy and girl die, and guy gets sucked into her body, *poof* she lives” but I think I can do it in a new way.

But I’m working on Sangria at the moment, and I’ve got some new ideas for “Do it Right,” so, I might be able to get a chapter or three out for that as well.

    Now, behold!

The story that used the idea!

The source of idea is inconclusive though.

I wrote the story that Faraway linked to, but I wrote it in 2008. I was not inspired by this post, and to the best of my recollection have never been here before.

But apparently great minds do think alike.
